IDEALLY NAUGHTY - 2 (PART IV)

PART IV

STRUGGLE

Something was poking Sanjay, he thought it might be a stone so he ignored. But then he realized that poking was deliberate and his brain signaled him of danger. He kept his eyes closed and moved acting as if he was adjusting himself in sleep and moved his hand towards his knife. As soon as he reached, he grabbed it and woke up lightning fast showing the knife. The Aadivasi’s got frightened by this act and started shouting. Sanjay was confused, questioning himself, who are they and what are they doing here? This shouting woke Shobha and Kaminibai. Shobha got cautious and also removed her knife. Kaminibai smiled and told both of them to put their knife’s down and convinced her children that these are harmless people. She went ahead to talk with them. As they came to know who she is, all of them went on their knees.  Sanjay and Shobha still in confusion. Kaminibai told them to raise and asked for shelter. They were happy and arranged horses for them. The Gaura’s were riding on horses and the Vaasi’s walking with them. They soon reached their Niwas Sthan (Place where they live). The Gaura’s were welcomed with flowers and drums, their traditional way of welcoming a honorary person. Sanjay and Shobha still confused what is going on.

The Gaura’s were then taken by the Mukhya to his house and was welcomed by washing their feets and putting a Tilak on their forehead chanting ‘JAI BHAVANI.’ Gaura’s were then made to sit and were given a special juice made of ayurvedic herbs and a piece of jaggery. Sanjay and Shobha made faces while drinking that which made people laugh and the moment light. They all started interacting and time passed. It was night and the Gaura’s had their dinner with the Vaasi’s. As the day ended the curious Gaura’s kids couldn’t control themselves and had to ask, “Who are they AAI? How do they know us? Why did they went on their knees?” To this Kaminibai smiled and said, “Once upon a time there was a MAN who had a brilliant personality but was on wheelchair due illness. It was his daughters marriage and everyone around were happy. Marriage was set to happen at the grooms village and it went in a proper way and the bride side were now travelling back to their village. While coming they had to pass through this Niwas Sthan. When they entered, no one was around. But the clothes, utensils were lying outside like a mess. Pin drop silence was there. People sensed something unusual as many of them use to pass this place and it was always a chaos around here, but what happened today. Then that man who was on the wheelchair stopped everyone and was trying to get up. His faithful child gave him a hand while standing. He went ahead and was picking a cloth. He saw the foot marks, they were familiar to him. He gave a look around and then he came to know what’s the matter. He smoothly dragged his hand towards his waist, held his knife and threw at the opposite side of where he was watching. BULLSEYE!!!! A Lootera(goon) was just killed by that man. The time this happened, the lootera’s hopped from the hiding surrounding these people. Less they knew that these were none other than the people of Gaura’s. Even if they were outnumbered, they had the courage to fight till the last breath and they did. That Man also fought for these villagers. It was he who said that we would either kill you or die. But he never expected that this would be his last. While fighting with 2 lootera’s this man was attacked by one from the back as they knew they couldn’t compete. His son was so angry that like a flash he ended the war as he could not take this. The war ended, Gaura’s won but they lost their best Mukhya. That Man was none other than RAMCHANDRA GAURA, your grandfather. That faithfull and angry son was your dad who killed these lootera’s like it was a piece of paper. The villagers were sad that because of them the Gaura’s lost their most important person. They gave agni to this man and said that the VAASI’S will always be grateful and faithful to his family. And this is why we are being treated in such a way.”

Sanjay and Shobha were feeling proud but also sad as they could not see their grandfather. “Your Great Grandfather had won various such battles, later he gave the throne to your Grandfather. He too never lost any battle, but the similarities between them was that none of them went to expand their territory. They were happy with what they had and wanted to excel in every aspect. All the battles held were against those who tried to capture our village but none of them succeeded. We never forced ourselves on anyone. Our land had always welcomed everyone with hands open. Today in townside and rest of the country we have constitution and we are republic citizens. But villages like Gaurawadi and someothers are spared from this as they still haven’t invaded us in anyways. We still rule like the kings and will be ruling till our people won’t feel insecure of their way and standard of living. Because our constitution is not ours, it still follows the British standards and our country will always lack to progress till the time we don’t have our own standards. Till now there were Brahmins and Kshatriyas who were discriminating the Vaishyas and the Shudras as the Untouchables. But Karma is a bitch, hope their children and grandchildren don’t suffer in a way they would never recover. Enough for the day, now go to sleep, tomorrow we would be leaving, they would guide us to our town.” Yay !!! said Shobha and Sanjay, who then went to sleep.

Later in the morning, the Vaasi’s and the Gaura’s started their day out and left for the journey.

Sanjay and Shobha felt so inspiring and were pumped after hearing their history. Now they were all set to go on one another adventurous ride to their town. Would this be the end to their troubled journey or God has still something up for them. To know more, hang on to this space. Do like, share and comment on the blog. IDEALLY NAUGHTY - 2 (PART III)

PART III

(STRUGGLE)

Sanjay was trying hard to get a solution to this, as to how should he get out of this and save himself and his family but he couldn’t do much. But to his surprise the machine stopped and he was picked up by his head by none other than Manthra. He held him by his hairs as Sanjay was growling in pain. “You pricky guy, you were trying to run from the catch of Manthra, how dare you do that? I have already said that don’t do that right? I said if you wanted a peaceful death you should not do that. But no, I suppose you need to get tortured, tortured to death.” Said Manthra. Meanwhile Kaminibai had enough and she was already in action. She was successful in getting herself out from the knot but was waiting for the right time to hop off.

As soon as Manthra took a breathe out of his dialogues she thought this was the time and like a Warrior she jumped out and sliced Manthra with the knife she had. Manthra was shocked and went to the corner of the room with an angry look ready to fight the Gaura’s. Kaminibai cut open the knot of Sanjay and Shobha. “Well well well, the Gaura’s give training to their mothers as well. I suppose the daughters too could have a hand on the weapons as well, haven’t they? That’s so brave of you Gaura’s but just not forget that you are not dealing with the goats and cocks are you? So don’t be fools and drop your weapon and surrender because you know you won’t be able to outnumber me. I am a ruthless maneater and I don’t look like the one who could grant mercy. So will you please ?” saying this Manthra put forward his hand expecting them to put their weapons down. All this was not digestive to the Gaura’s, Kaminibai said, “You ruthless killer, you are not the first person that we are dealing with. So just don’t be a pussy and fight like a man if you are one. Because today, right now, it’s either we or you whose gonna go out alive. Let’s bring an end to this endless melodrama of the jungle. Just let me know how you want your body parts to be smashed off? Do you want your jungle mates to have fun or should I give you the respectable death?” this was way too much for Manthra, without a second thought he hopped with his knife in a move to cut slice of the lady who was talking way too much, but to his surprise she managed to dodge that and was now on the other side of the so called podium. They had a good eye contact waiting for the next move, Manthra couln’t wait more and attacked her and this time he was successful, he managed to get a cut on her hand, but her reaction to it was like a total warrior. She did not even look at the cut and was still staring at him in his eyes. “Well you are being too sexy to be called a woman with two kids. I am enjoying this. You are a wild cat.” This was not at all funny for Sanjay. He took the sword from the corner, ran like a flash towards Manthra, moved his hand through his neck. Before Manthra could realize from where did he come from, he had his neck out of his body. Kaminibai’s eyes popped out and she was shocked to see her opponent in two by none other than her own child. Sanjay’s eyes were red with rage standing in a style as he knew he hit a bull’s eye. “No one messes with my family. I said no one.”

“What was that? Are you mad? This is not how we fight. It was between us.” Said Kaminibai. “No AAI, fight like a warrior with a warrior not with a traitor. He deserves this. All these principles are not to be followed against everyone.” Replied Sanjay. “Good one.” Said Shobha. They picked the swords around them and were now proceeding towards the exit. They knew he was not the only one in the house and so they were ready for the fight. They moved in pack and Sanjay was leading them. They moved on to his hall where his wife and children were ready with the swords to get revenge. Not a second was wasted and the Manthra family attacked. Good lord it was a perfect match as the wife attacked Kaminibai, her daughter on Shobha and her son on Sanjay. They all were professionals so it was all like a war. Sanjay was all defending himself as Manthra’s son was way too attacking and had a strong hand over Sanjay but it happened again. Manthra’s son lost his balance and slept of the blood down on the floor giving Sanjay an upper hand in this one-to-one combat slicing another head out of the body. Simultaneously Shobha was also in her best, she had a clean action of her attack and did not gave her opponent a chance as she was not much of her match. Shobha easily removed her intestines out of her torso. It was Kaminibai vs Manthra’s wife. It was seen that both were having equal hand in the combat. Both the ladies were giving their best, but they were not at all interested in this fair match. Shobha was going to attack when Kaminibai shouted, “NO.” She backed off. Kaminibai was now tired, it can be seen. “That’s it?” asked Manthra’s wife. Kaminibai nodded a no and that’s when Manthra’s wife hopped like a tiger but Kaminibai got her move and she went down on her back and she stabbed her precisely. Finally the combat ended.

Kaminibai was trying to regain her breathe, somehow she managed to do so and they started running. She couldn’t grab the distance much and fell down. Sanjay and Shobha were worried as they never saw their mother getting so weak before. As Sanjay took his mother on lap he noticed that she had a cut on her stomach. Blood had already made her saree damp, the reason why she was feeling weak. Sanjay took her on his shoulder now and started walking. As the sun was coming to rest they had to stop, but the halt should be a safe place as the danger is still not over. So he continued to walk, by god’s grace they soon saw a waterfall and decided to spend this night at its base. Shobha cleaned the wound with the water. She saw the cut was deep but could be healed. By the time Sanjay had been to take some medicine and food. He managed to bring the medicine as he was aware of some ayurvedic solutions for such wounds. As they were near to a waterfall they had a protinious food of fish and slept.

What will be coming ahead in their journey, no one knows. They had already passed many miles walking now. They are expecting a miracle so that they would get out of this jungle and reach their destination. Shantaram was unware of this thing. The Gaura’s managed to get out of the jaw of Manthra. But this was a jungle, and you never know what could come ahead.

IDEALLY NAUGHTY - 2 (PART II)

PART II

STRUGGLE

It was one dense forest, quietly walking with his face down with Shobha and Kaminibai following him, Sanjay did not stop. All three of them were walking together so that no one should get lost and face every danger together. They were aware of this dense forest and the danger they could face in it. The terror of the best known lions and tigers with snakes all over in it. They also have heard that every single person trying to surpass this forest had lost and never returned. Many tales related to this have been narrated to them in their childhood so that no one dares to go in it.  They knew that they won’t pass this forest without meeting these threats but they did not have any other option but to fight as none of them like to get on there knees for help. Gaura’s never did that and would never ever do it.

Sun was on their head but it could hardly reach the ground such was the density. Covered densely with tall trees. Thirsty and hungry all day long but without any complain they moved. They did not know where they are heading but were walking on all hopes to reach the destination. Soon they saw one hut in the middle of this dark forest. Everyone’s eyes widened as they saw that hut but it was closed as it looked from this far. They started to walk in that direction hoping that they should somehow get to stay in that hut for a night. As they reached that hut, Sanjay approached and said with a firm voice, “Is there anyone inside.?” No one replied. “Hello, is there anyone in here, we are Gaura’s from the nearby village and have lost our way to our city, will you please help us?” again no reply. Now Sanjay was getting irritated and thought of kicking the door and get inside of the hut, but was stopped by Shobha as she knew it from his face what he thought of. But then the unlikely thing happened, the door opened all by itself. They got shocked and a bit frightened as to what is going on. Sanjay just could not take this anymore and entered with anger and shouted, “Is this a joke brother, come out and talk to us, why are you playing such games?” and this time as well there was no reply. Shobha and Kaminibai entered the hut hand in hand, as soon as they entered, the door behind them got close automatically and locked. They ran towards the door and were trying to open it but it was not opening. They smelled something fishy and they knew that they got stuck in great danger. Sanjay, Shobha and Kaminibai now glued themselves to each other and were waiting for someone to come forward and end their filmy horror period but something else happened. It was a rod coming from the dark right on their heads, BANG!!!

Trying hard to come back in his senses, Sanjay was opening his eyes. He saw his mom and sister were tied with handcuffs and mouth closed with cloth stuffed in. He got disturbed and was going to approach them but couldn’t move as he realized it late that he too was tied in a similar way. He heard sounds of grinding machines and also that they had a company in the same situation as they could hear someone screaming the hell out. Soon he saw a man with dark complexion totally hairy, heavily built, with approx. height of around 7 ft and above, with an axe in hand covered with fresh blood with typical dhoti. He had broad smile on his face as he approached the Gaura’s. Standing right in the middle of the room he said, “Hello everyone, my name is Manthra, I know you never have heard about me but let me tell you one simple thing that it’s me because of whom no one ever surpassed this forest. So let’s keep that in same way as I am a proud man-eater. This blood you see surely gave you a close look of what is my today’s menu. But you’ll are lucky enough as your day will come tomorrow and don’t worry I know you all are hungry and I will share my food with you. HAHAHAHAHA.” Sanjay spat on his face and was giving him an angry look. Manthra got angry came forward and smacked Sanjay on his face. Blood started flowing through his nose. “ You Sanjay Shantaram Gaura, I know you, I know each of your family member and how you had hit your uncle. But let me tell you I am not your uncle so keep that anger to yourself because it’s worthless here.” And he went away.

Kaminibai was in deep thought after that. Sanjay asked out of curiosity, “AAI, WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?” “ HOW DOES HE KNOWS US?” replied Kaminibai. “WE ARE GAURA’S, EVERYONE HERE AROUND KNOWS WHO WE ARE. WHY ARE YOU THINKING THAT MUCH?” asked Sanjay. “HE IS NOT A VILLAGER, YOU SAW WHERE HE STAYS, TRIBALS DON’T INTERACT WITH VILLAGERS, THEY HATE THEM, HOW DOES HE KNOW WHO WE ARE? IS THERE SOMEONE WHO HE IS IN CONTACT WITH?” replied Kaminibai thoughtfully. Sanjay and Shobha also started to think it the other way. The day passed and it was there supper time, Manthra had a wife and four children to feed and all of them were man-eaters. One of his kids came to give Gaura’s the food, to which they did not even see. They were hungry but this was not what they would eat. Some say that a hungry mind comes with the best survival plan. Sanjay got one such thing. Manthra forgot that the villagers always had a sharp edge knife, the best thing was that Sanjay had it in his lehenga. But it was inaccessible as his hands were tied. The only thing he could do for now was to remove his lehenga and he did that. Shobha and Kaminibai were looking at the door as to see who is coming in to tell Sanjay. Sanjay slides his lehenga by his leg in the direction where he could get access to that knife. After many attempts he finally got hold of the knife and cut open his knot. He soon ran to his family and made them free. While doing this they heard of a grinding machine getting started.

The Gaura’s looked in the direction of sound. Manthra was having food, then who the hell started the machine. The lights went off in the room and there was a Thud sound heard again. Ladies started screaming as they were held and dragged to the chopper room. The ladies were again tied and were hanged upside down. The Thud sound was nothing but it was a hit on Sanjay, he was unconscious for some time now. As his eyes opened and he was getting conscious again he started hearing voice of his mom and sister crying and a grinding machine nearing him. His eyes got widened and he had no clue to what should he do.

Will Manthra kill Sanjay? Is Kaminibai and Shobha going to be the next in line? What is going to be the scenario would be known later in the Part. Till then do give a feedback and wait until the next part. Do comment on the blog. Please do like and share.

ROADTRIP SHIMLA

It all started with only a wish from my senior, “Kaash hum Shimla jaa paate yaar ! (Wish we could go to Shimla).” And it struck hard, real hard and so hard that we decided that yes we are going to Shimla. We stay in Delhi working for the no.1 airline of this country. After giving the departure we were relaxing and getting ready for our night halt aircrafts and suddenly all of this happened. It was our 2nd night and after that we were having 2 off’s, and so the plan was on. We were 5 people(2 engineers 2 Technicians & myself) who decided to bang on and started preparing.

Siddesh sir(engg) booked a Swift with the help of his local friends and it happened in no time. We ended that night somehow and left to our places for getting ready and decided would meet at Akshay sir’s(engg) place @12pm. But as usual we all were late and the one who was giving us the Car was also late. But then happened a magical thing, we got a call from the person from whom we rented this car that they are not having swift with them and that they are upgrading the car to none other than XUV500. We jumped in excitation that the trip started with a bang and all were happy. Soon we gathered, the Hunk Car came and we started our journey by 3pm. It was all smooth and we were enjoying the Delhi National Highway. Driving as there was no end to this vacation. We were hungry as well as we did not have any food so after 2 hours we took a halt at one of the finest hotels I have seen here named as ‘Amrik Sukhdev’. The very first thing we did was to empty our bladders as it was too cold, so that was totally natural. After that we went through the menu and to my surprise the rates at this hotel were equal to roadside food. I was shocked like they are giving this great quality with such reasonable rates. You just could not believe as the hotel ambience was totally rich and after seeing only I had decided that I would only take a cup of tea and one Lays packet, but eventually ended taking Pav bhaji and that was yummy. Others took Chola Bhatura and different styles of Samosa. After taking some selfies we soon took off from there and now had decided that we won’t stop for the next 3-4 hours. So we drove with loud music, fun and every little boy things that made that time really memorable. After some time we reached near Chandigarh and took a halt again to empty our bladders and took a cup of tea and raced to Shimla. Now it was dark and very cold as well. We had to reach Shimla on time so that we could get a room in one hotel for night but due to darkness and improper roads we reached the spot @12 am. We started asking for room but the hotels were full. With the help of Google Maps we started driving. The roads were covered with ice and the car was not getting proper grip. The car was slipping while we drove the car on the roads with 30 degree elevation. We somehow managed to drive through but then happened a nightmare. We were driving on a road were only one car can go or come. And that we reached a dead end. It was a gate of school which was closed. Now how are we going to turn this hunk in such a short distance. But our prayers  were answered and one security guard came out to see what was happening outside his school gate. We asked him to open the gate so that we could make a turn and leave. He opened one gate and the car went inside. As we were turning the car the other gate was coming in the middle so we told him to open it more to that he said it won’t open more. Now we got stuck because there was no space for the car to come out. Somehow we managed to turn the car but it was not at all possible to remove the car from that gap as there was not much gap to turn. Even it was not possible for us to go in the school and make a turn as the ground was covered all by snow till knee length. During this skillfull process the brakes did not support us and the car glided back while removing the car and ended with bonet fairing breakage. Now what should we do? After sometime an idea strucked and that was to dig some part near the gate that was not allowing it to open. And we did that, managed to open the gate fully and we took the car from there without any further damage.

We got some nerds telling us that they will give a room in 2500/- but their rooms were not hygienic and this night turned to be more adventurous as @3am we gave up looking for rooms and decided to sleep in our hunk in Victory Tunnel. There was a loud thud near my window as I was sleeping on the driver’s seat, to which I got up fast to see a hawaldar knocking. He saw me moving and opening my eyes and told us to leave. I saw what was the time and it was 7am. I shook my head in positive and again closed my eyes. We did this mom-son thing for an hour and later finally @8am we got up  left the tunnel as it was not allowed to park in the tunnel. My seniors had an idea of the next stop and so we left for that place and it was none other than TARA DEVI’s Mandir. It was an 12km ride away from Shimla back in the direction of Delhi. We drove and reached the spot by around 9am. The road was too adventurous as its slope upwards was in 60-70 degree with snow all over the road. Yet we managed to come up the hill, all thanks to Akshay sir’s driving. This temple was approximately 7200 feet above sea level. As we went towards the parking we were happy to notice what we were here for and that was a bed of snow. We dint even locked the car and started taking selfies, pictures and playing in the snow. After an hour we went into the Mandir(temple) and had darshan. The man over there suggested us to go towards backside of the temple as he said we will love it. We agreed and by God, we went speechless. It was nothing but a mountain of snow. For the first time in my life I had seen this natural snow covering whole of the mountain. It was like I am in heaven. There were stairs for some distance to go down as there was a Temple of Shiva-The Mahadeo. So we decided to go down and look for it. It was slippery we fell we rose but did not stop and went on walking and enjoying through the snow. We were totally mesmerized by the sight. The whiteness of that snow got me so happy from within that it is still glimpsing through my eyes. My eyes were wide open in excitement to observe this beautiful part of nature. How amazing it looks. I am just not able to express my feelings, this really needs to be experienced and felt. Even though we were feeling cold we did not stop ourselves to engulf in that snow and had our most amazing time in it. We climbed back trying to gain our breathing rhythm with beautiful memories. It was one amazing moment I would never forget ever in my life. Soon we left from there and were going back to Shimla and also looked for rooms and got one as well. At around 1pm we checked in and decided that we will leave for the famous Mall Road by 3pm. We got fresh and left, had lunch and then started to roam. The time I entered the place it was not at all looking like I am standing in India. The construction, the environment, the cleaniness, the beauty all were like amazing and people over here took a very good care of their own place to keep this tourist place as it should be.  My seniors took some things for their parents and we returned to our hotel. We had a plan taking Hookah and soon we left for it, we roamed a while but got nothing in return. We were disappointed and hogged in our supper and went back to our hotel to have a good night sleep. While sleeping I had this big smile on my face, as it was the new best trip of my lifetime. Thank you Madhur sir, Mahaprabhu sir, Akshay sir and Siddesh sir for making this trip happening and looking forward to go for the next one very soon.

The next morning we cleared the bills and left for Delhi as on this day we had to join the company on our normal schedule of night shift. We reached safely by 6pm and reported on duty at 8pm. Suggesting you people to go to Shimla and have the best time of your life as it really has an amazing weather (T&C apply). You could see pictures of my Shimla trip on my facebook account Siddhesh Sanjay Ganve
