I MISS YOU

Hi guys, this is a short story about two best friends, Anjali and Rahul. How they use to be and how they loved each other and yet were not in a relationship. They loved to stay like this and show their love towards each other. To observe each other from a distance by not getting noticed by the other.

This story is from Anjali’s point of view. Next one will be from Rahul’s view. I hope you will love this and relate to it somehow with your crush, if you had any. If not then too enjoy reading.

She was packing her bags with tears in her eyes as she was leaving her house for going on a new contract but this time all alone. She was missing someone so badly that she just couldn’t avoid his absence and was relating every particular course she was doing. Is this the power of love or its weakness? Asking herself but not getting a satisfactory answer to it.

Anjali heading herself in the wardrobe of Rahul and throwing his clothes towards him as he was packing his bag at the other end of the room. Anjali had done her packing well before hand and now was helping in doing the same. Soon his parents came and started scolding him on his casual attitude for not getting ready for their trip, as Anjali and Rahul had got a golden opportunity in their career. Soon they reached the spot from where the bus was going to pick them up. Bus came and soon they departed. It was a long 18 hours journey and both these besties were excited. Bus was a sleeper coach and they booked seat for the double sleeper were they could stay together. They started to play, eat, play again and chatted all the way long. Anjali observing every inch of Rahul as he was trying to adjust his cards, his expression how enthusiastically he was arranging them. She use to fell in love with him on his every single expression. They played and she observed all the way long till the bus took a halt for supper. They removed their tiffin and started hogging. This time again Anjali with a smile on her face was just looking at Rahul how cutely he was hogging. He looks so cute when he is hungry she said to herself. Rahul saw Anjali smiling and asked her what happened only by expression. She nodded and he laughed and said to start eating again with an expression. After everyone had their supper, the bus took-off again and now they started to play new movies in the bus. Both these friends watched movies and slept soon. They got up as the conductor started screaming “15 min RUKHEGI KHALI, JALDI NASHTA KARLO.” Both of them started to run with their brushes in hand and a water bottle. After doing that they took a cup of tea and one masala dosa as usual. Having that they left for the destination.

Again they started to play and playing songs, “BAATIEN YE KABHI NAA,TU BHULNA, KOI TERE KHAATIR HAI JEE RAHA, JAYE TU KAHI BHI YE SOCHNA, KOI TERE KHAATIR HAI JEE RAHA.” Sang Rahul looking into Ajnali’s eyes  and she just can’t stop herself from hugging him. They started singing together such songs and travelled a while to reach their spot. They started to live there with their friends. They use to start their morning together and use to end their day together. Right from getting up at 5’o clock for making food and breakfast, then use to run for bath and getting ready to leave for their job and then working together for the same company, having lunch together with colleagues, laughing and enjoying their work, that time also she couldn’t stop herself from looking at world’s most beautiful thing and that’s Rahul’s smile, then coming back tired after working for 12 hours and then having supper and chit chat with the roommates and then going for sleep.

THUDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!! Anjali shivered as she came back to her senses. She was crying, crying a lot as this time she was alone, travelling in that bus, going to stay their alone, going to work alone and going to bed alone. ALONE ! ALONE ! ALONE ! She was missing her friend her best friend. Why you left me? Why you went alone and kept me here all alone. ALONE ! ALONE ! ALONE ! Asking herself and getting no answer. She felt a hand on her shoulders, she turned to look who it was. It was her mother, Anjali hugged her mother and started weeping. Both mother and daughter couldn’t stop themselves. “He is not dead, he is there with you all the time. Don’t you worry my love just be happy and concentrate on your work. You know he never wanted to see you cry like this, nor did he ever wanted to be your weakness. He always tried to be your strength and now you have to show that yes he was your biggest strength and will always be.” Whispered her mother. Anjali saw the time, wiped her tears and packed the last thing on her list that was Rahul’s photo with his beautiful smile.

NAVIC

"DAAYE MUDIYE AUR AAP APNI JAGAH POHOCH JAYENGE."(Turn left and you shall reach your destination) said a voice from my GPS system as I was travelling to a new place in India. IMPOSSIBLE!!!!! Right? Not really, because soon this fantasy is going to be a reality. Yes you read it right.

Hello everyone, here I am with my new blog, on a new topic and I guess all my Indian friends know what I am going to talk about in this blog. Guessed right guys, it’s the ‘NAVIC’. NAVIC itself means Sailor or the Navigator. Now some of you might not know what I am talking about and hence this is going to be really special and amazing fact or a fantasy for us Indians which is going to be true. Here we go.

NAVIC – NAVigation with Indian Constellation is an Indian developed Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System (IRNSS) that is used to provide accurate real-time positioning and timing services over India and region extending to 1500 km around India. To be simple NAVIC is soon going to replace the conventional GPS system we use in our mobile phones. Thank you ISRO for making us proud again. Let’s see some basic information regarding the same.

Basic Information :-
Country of Origin                       - India
Operator                                     - ISRO ( Indian Space Research Organization )
Type                                           - Military, Commercial
Status                                         - Operational
Coverage                                    - Regional
Total Satellites                           - 9 (7 in orbit 2 on ground as standby)
Orbital height                             - 36,000 km
Cost                                            - Rs.1420 crore/ $212 Million
Weight                                       - 1,330 kg
Solar Panel Power Generation  - 1,400 watts

The 7 deployed satellites of NAVIC contain 3 satellites in GEO orbit and 4 satellites in GSO orbit. A satellite in GEO orbit means that it is having an orbital period or a rotational period and the direction similar to that of the Earth, and thus appears motionless. Whereas a satellite in GSO orbit means the rotational period is same but the direction is different i.e. the object will appear at the same place at the same time, but will disappear later. The requirement of such a navigation system became a necessity because access to foreign government-controlled global navigation satellite systems is not guaranteed in hostile situations, as happened to the Indian military depending on American GPS during Kargil War.

The NAVIC would provide two services, with the Standard Positioning Service open for civilian use, and the Restricted Service for authorized users (including the military). Once the NAVIC is declared operational after checking the systems – space (satellites), ground (ground stations) and the user-end signal receivers, India will formally join a selected group of nations owning their own Navigational Satellite System.

The first of the seven satellites was launched on 1st July 2013 and the rest is history. These satellites are placed in particular orbit as said to give optimum result and if you see from above it will appear to be moving in the form of an “8”. All this information is what you need to know as a proud Indian citizen. If you want to know more about it, then do visit ISRO’s main site for the same. I hope this blog gave you some knowledge and if so then do not hesitate to like, share and comment on the blog below.

A BEGINNING

Running down from one end of the room to other,  just to fetch a cup of water, as my homemade Chicken had loads of Lal Mirch powder that burnt my Esophagus from top to bottom. Still can’t get rid of it, so cupped a handful of sugar and threw directly onto my taste buds and simultaneously some remaining rice as well. Hush!!!!!!!!!! I sighed as I got some relief from the burning sensation. Sat on my bed and started thinking of what would have been my reaction if my mom would have made such kind of stuff. A blast!!!!!BOOM!!!!!

Hello everyone, here I am back again with my new blog, sharing my experience as I moved to Delhi from Mumbai, as a bachelor, all alone in a new city, as I had got an Internship in Indigo Airlines as a Trainee - Maintenance. After some nostalgic feeling till I got onboard, I started to think practically about my life in coming future. There will be no one to guide me, or give me a precautionary guidance before I do something wrong. I won’t be having my Mom by my side to help me out with the food stuff, my Dad by my side to help me with the laundry nor I’ll be having my Grandparents to yell at me about making mess around the room. Will I be able to cope with this awkward silence around me? I had never been so lonely ever before, I had my buddies around me on a trip to Hosur before this and so was not missing any of these said celebrities (Yeah, these are my Celebrities). Moving onto one of the haunted Cities surrounded by the criminals was not an easy task though, but we A.M.E. students have no other options to set our career right. For me, this was one of the ideal situations to start my career with a BANG.

As soon as I landed and reached my spot, Mahipalpur, my batch mate was waiting for me to pick me up and take me to his room. We walked around 1.5km from the pickup point with a weight of around 23kgs. Crossing and walking the busy streets of Mahipalpur, we soon reached his room. Then I came to know that there are 3 of my batch mates staying in this area and I was relieved about having someone whom I knew. Soon along with 2 batch mates, one working in Air India Ltd. as Contract Technician and the other working in the same company as of mine, we started to go for our supper as it was 21 hrs. already. On supper we had a chat about the locals and soon I was aware about the locality as well. After some chitchat we went to our rooms and prepared for bed. Before going to bed, my friend told me that tomorrow we will go out and watch for the rooms, I nodded and we slept.

Next morning we got up and soon started to search for the rooms, we roamed for around 3 hrs. yet we didn’t find anything satisfactory. I was getting worried as I never wanted to compromise on having a better kitchen and toilet in my room. I was consoling myself that I have to struggle and that these things shouldn’t matter me much. But then by God’s grace one person knew that we were hunting for room and he showed me one place where rooms were available and it was just a new construction. We headed in that direction and contacted the landlord. One person came and opened the door for us and took us to the room and showed us. It was an amazing room and not even giving a second thought I booked it. I gave him advance and asked when should I shift, he said he requires 2 more days to finish up the remaining furniture work in my room. I said Ok and left with satisfaction.

After 2 days my batch mates helped me with setting up my room and soon I was in my own room(though on rent). I can never thank them much whatever they did for me. Now the actual adventure begins. I joined my company, did all my documentation and was waiting for the pass to be issued so that I may resume with my work. But till then I have to wait, it was going to take minimum of 10-15 working days, and I started thinking what am I going to do these days? These were the days I am going to realize the pain of a housewife. Sitting idle, doing nothing but just thinking of what should I make for lunch, supper and breakfast, then doing the utensils and later the major part i.e. laundry that too by hand. I started thinking about my Mom, she too is a working lady and thanked her for taking so much pain for the family for so many years, thanked my Dad who taught me how to give a helping hand to your spouse and setting up a beautiful example to be an ideal husband and a father. They say you value things only when they are apart, truly said. I started doing all these stuffs on a regular basis and was fed up as I couldn’t continue doing this for a longer period. I tried many dishes but always there was some or the other thing missing in it. I didn’t gave up and tried my best by keeping my Mom and Dad in my mind as an inspiration. I never said though, but this blog would surely make them sentimental and I would say that yes I AM MISSING THEM A LOT. LOVE YOU LOADS. Setting up a new life is not at all easy, that too alone is a big moment. But I always thought of making my own Empire, so this is just the beginning and soon step-by-step I’ll make sure that my parents would be proud of me. Before going I would like to mention that people around are not that bad. Just all we need to do is be aware, wherever you go.

THANK YOU
