A BEGINNING

Running down from one end of the room to other,  just to fetch a cup of water, as my homemade Chicken had loads of Lal Mirch powder that burnt my Esophagus from top to bottom. Still can’t get rid of it, so cupped a handful of sugar and threw directly onto my taste buds and simultaneously some remaining rice as well. Hush!!!!!!!!!! I sighed as I got some relief from the burning sensation. Sat on my bed and started thinking of what would have been my reaction if my mom would have made such kind of stuff. A blast!!!!!BOOM!!!!!

Hello everyone, here I am back again with my new blog, sharing my experience as I moved to Delhi from Mumbai, as a bachelor, all alone in a new city, as I had got an Internship in Indigo Airlines as a Trainee - Maintenance. After some nostalgic feeling till I got onboard, I started to think practically about my life in coming future. There will be no one to guide me, or give me a precautionary guidance before I do something wrong. I won’t be having my Mom by my side to help me out with the food stuff, my Dad by my side to help me with the laundry nor I’ll be having my Grandparents to yell at me about making mess around the room. Will I be able to cope with this awkward silence around me? I had never been so lonely ever before, I had my buddies around me on a trip to Hosur before this and so was not missing any of these said celebrities (Yeah, these are my Celebrities). Moving onto one of the haunted Cities surrounded by the criminals was not an easy task though, but we A.M.E. students have no other options to set our career right. For me, this was one of the ideal situations to start my career with a BANG.

As soon as I landed and reached my spot, Mahipalpur, my batch mate was waiting for me to pick me up and take me to his room. We walked around 1.5km from the pickup point with a weight of around 23kgs. Crossing and walking the busy streets of Mahipalpur, we soon reached his room. Then I came to know that there are 3 of my batch mates staying in this area and I was relieved about having someone whom I knew. Soon along with 2 batch mates, one working in Air India Ltd. as Contract Technician and the other working in the same company as of mine, we started to go for our supper as it was 21 hrs. already. On supper we had a chat about the locals and soon I was aware about the locality as well. After some chitchat we went to our rooms and prepared for bed. Before going to bed, my friend told me that tomorrow we will go out and watch for the rooms, I nodded and we slept.

Next morning we got up and soon started to search for the rooms, we roamed for around 3 hrs. yet we didn’t find anything satisfactory. I was getting worried as I never wanted to compromise on having a better kitchen and toilet in my room. I was consoling myself that I have to struggle and that these things shouldn’t matter me much. But then by God’s grace one person knew that we were hunting for room and he showed me one place where rooms were available and it was just a new construction. We headed in that direction and contacted the landlord. One person came and opened the door for us and took us to the room and showed us. It was an amazing room and not even giving a second thought I booked it. I gave him advance and asked when should I shift, he said he requires 2 more days to finish up the remaining furniture work in my room. I said Ok and left with satisfaction.

After 2 days my batch mates helped me with setting up my room and soon I was in my own room(though on rent). I can never thank them much whatever they did for me. Now the actual adventure begins. I joined my company, did all my documentation and was waiting for the pass to be issued so that I may resume with my work. But till then I have to wait, it was going to take minimum of 10-15 working days, and I started thinking what am I going to do these days? These were the days I am going to realize the pain of a housewife. Sitting idle, doing nothing but just thinking of what should I make for lunch, supper and breakfast, then doing the utensils and later the major part i.e. laundry that too by hand. I started thinking about my Mom, she too is a working lady and thanked her for taking so much pain for the family for so many years, thanked my Dad who taught me how to give a helping hand to your spouse and setting up a beautiful example to be an ideal husband and a father. They say you value things only when they are apart, truly said. I started doing all these stuffs on a regular basis and was fed up as I couldn’t continue doing this for a longer period. I tried many dishes but always there was some or the other thing missing in it. I didn’t gave up and tried my best by keeping my Mom and Dad in my mind as an inspiration. I never said though, but this blog would surely make them sentimental and I would say that yes I AM MISSING THEM A LOT. LOVE YOU LOADS. Setting up a new life is not at all easy, that too alone is a big moment. But I always thought of making my own Empire, so this is just the beginning and soon step-by-step I’ll make sure that my parents would be proud of me. Before going I would like to mention that people around are not that bad. Just all we need to do is be aware, wherever you go.

THANK YOU
